Social Networks

Social Networking is another easy and convenient way to communicate

one another regardless of where or when a person is,

as long as there is an easy source of Internet connections.

With a number of Social Networking sites appearing

all over the online world, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and many other interesting sites are more

and more common and useful over our daily lives. Believe or not, there's even a 100-year-old

granny uses Facebook to communicate with her children and grandchildren!

But however, as teenagers gains access to these Social Networking websites,

they will soon be addicted to using it, showing signs of addictions such

as using it during situation such as school lessons or during meals,

or constantly staying up late to check updates which can

possibly cause an increase in phone or electricity bills.

Moreover, risks can also occur such as hacking into

stranger’s account, exposing private information that is not meant to be publicly shown.

For example, micro-blogging websites such as Twitter are at even

higher risk of cyber-bullying. This happens when many users,

especially teenagers, tend to set their account as ‘public’,

revealing messages to strangers about their daily life. In return,

rude messages would appear, one of cyber-bullying techniques.

Furthermore, leading to the user being more introvert as he or

she thinks that they are being despised by others even though

they do not know each other in reality.

Even if cases of cyber-bullying are happening every day, not

all social-networking sites are at disadvantage. For example, Tumblr,

a popular site that encourage people to share and interact with people

or, known as ‘followers’. In a blog format, one can either write about

the happenings, post photographs that they took, chats, videos and

others on the page. The site can also be another platform for young

artists to share their artwork such as their own paintings, photographs,

music or stories that they composed to the outside world, allowing their

work to be even more well known as most ‘followers’ are strangers.

Another example, Facebook, with it’s number of members equivalent

to the population of Japan, it is also the most common social network

site that teenagers are addicted to. Mobile phone applications made

for Facebook and Twitter has increase the amount of usage by bringing

the traditional way of accessing it through a bulky computer, to a small,

handy and convenient mobile phone. With another easier way to access

the sites through a mobile phone, it can be a major disadvantage to

the schools; a student in a local school smuggled his mobile phone into

the examination hall and took photos of his exam paper that he was suppose

to be doing, and posted it online via Twitter and Facebook. He was later

caught doing so, and was told not to continue his examinations as it

was considered as cheating.

However, Facebook can also be useful in

organising events, groups and gatherings; even when a person

has graduated from his or her primary school for at least 12 years,

he or she could still stay in touch by searching for their friend’s

account and organise a gathering in real life through the help of the website.

With the increasing number of people being introduced into these

social-networking sites, it is unusual to know a person without

an account on the websites mention before. It has also lead to

the ability of globalisation; instead of taking a 6 hour flight to

visit a relative living in overseas, these websites allow people to stay

in contact without the worry of soaring telephone bills or the money

needed to buy an air ticket as these websites are free, easy and convenient to use.

The sites enable people to get the latest news within minutes or even seconds.

This in return, making the world an even smaller and smaller planet,

with the help of these famous trend that people from around the world are fantasising it.

It's been a long time I've last blogged. I finally got the dress I want (about a month ago), and now a union jack oversized-tee from Bugis for $15.

But that's not my objective to write about today....
I felt stupid and used by this guy who apparently ask someone else to confess to me about his feelings. I should have realised that long ago! Even my friend who helped him to pass a message to me (p.s. the message is that three important words) thinks that he's just a player. What a fucking idiot I am. Now, I'm treating him just a friend and pretended that nothing had happen before and I don't know what he had told me. And he's trying to avoid me too. (Be it if I sound like I'm making myself a big show-off, but I'm not. 'cause if you were to be me, you will be feeling like you've made a big mistake.)

Flash!

Haven't been updating my blog like... almost a month? I was busy with school work (been crazy about Combined Humanities, POA and Maths).
I suppose to go Orchard alone today but ended up meeting Jiayi - We went to 313@Somerset and tried a few dress from New Look!
I fell in love with those dresses but my budget is tight, so from now on I'll start saving!

After Jiayi left at 3pm+, I head straight to New Look at ION Orchard - XD This time I bought a set of rose ear studs! Aren't they cute!
6 colours! - Orange-Pink, Yellow, Pinkish-red, Turquoise, Black, violet!

Left Orchard around 4pm, and head towards AMK. Walked around AMK central and I found a fruit store that sells the sweetest mango slices I tried! (comparing to other sliced-fruit fruit vendors).

After finishing the mangoes, I went to Popular bookstore at AMK Jubilee and I saw the Justin Bieber biography under the children section

WTF?

Head home by taking bus 169 - the bus had this squeaky sound that sounds like birds screaming!

OMG!! I can't believe that I've not update my blog for days!

Anyway here's something I would like to share, Ms Kate has complained to Mrs Ang (HOD of Humanities) that 3C are not hard working!!!!! WTF.
Seriously, putting her in class 3B or 3D or 3H, she'll get the same results because she speaks to fast and we don't quite understand her in her accent-.- But I hope she'll understands...

Plus, Mrs Ang had comment that this year's 3B and 3C (incl. last year's 2B and 2C) are bright students compared to other levels - through the fact that we are interested in Maths and although we pay less attention during class than Express classes, we'll still pass our tests with flying colours (not referring to all)

I think that POA, Geography and Maths are getting easier - but I definitely failed my maths class test :(

Happy Birthday everybody! According to the Chinese Customs, today is 人日 (pronounce: Ren ri), which is the day when humans are created! All the teachers are celebrating by doing the "lo-hei" at the cafeteria this afternoon, Ms Kate and Mr Cosgrove's group did the failed version of the "lo-hei"! Rui Teng and Reuben said they are inexperienced. (Pictures are available at the previous post :D)

During class, it is quite boring, so I use the CNY handmade orange to create some 'art' xD And I took these pictures during Maths lesson when Mr Poh and Mdm Lee didn't notice :D

No. of Angbaos collected: 14 (and still counting!)
One of my friend had collected more than 40+, but CNY is not just about collecting angbaos but it's about gathering with relatives and celebrate new year with joy and happiness.

I've planned to use the angbao money on a pair of new shoes and save the rest for other important event (I wish that Lady Gaga would perform in Singapore!)

Homework: Currently left with a few maths questions and a Geog paper to go!
I skipped doing my maths homework because of me spending too much time on a question..... and that laziness perks up and so I took a shower instead xD

Malaysia trip!: I kinda miss Malaysia already... maybe it's because of the fact that the stuff over there are more affordable than in Singapore?
I'm actually creating a list of 'what to buy' now and it's gonna be a very, very long list! (shop-a-holic!)

It's weird these days... I want to sleep more rather than facing the computer screen! (That's good :D)

3C'11 is great - I'm now better in Maths, English and even Physics (I'm not referring to measuring waves. I failed in that).

There's a disadvantage somehow, because Mr Vijay if our Maths teacher, who also teaches A Maths, and so his method of teaching is slightly a bit of a "Express" teaching, a lot of us do not recognise his way of teaching but also tried their best in doing his homework. Mr Vijay is also that type of teacher who is under the "most-absent teacher" list, he's been absent for a lot of days! About 2 times a week! And because of this, we're far behind 3B in Maths! Luckily, Miss Isma allow us to join 3B during Maths lesson if he's not around (10 pupils only!).

Now I'm starting to like Ms Jocelyn as a English teacher, she even make Friday as a day for us to not to do any serious work, but sort of playing games related to English xD
Such as finding lyrics of certain songs by word-search or Bingo!

Yup. I'm that awesome (dot dot dot!). I thought that POA homework will be hard and also requires a lot of work since the teacher requires us to use some jobs search website to complete the work - I WAS WRONG! It only requires 5 minutes of my precious time and a little search over the internet xD. Haven't finish up my Mother Tongue homework because I'll skip that to tomorrow when I'm free.

The Solution

- There won't be MT on Monday, so I'm able to do my MT homework on Monday itself and hand up on Tuesday

- No Mathematics on Tuesday, so I'll skip my Maths homework (if there is) on Monday and will finish them up on Tuesday :)

Busy week!!! But I think I'm improving my Mathematics.

Mr VIjay even looked at me when I was teaching Shi Ya during his Maths lesson

with us and told the whole class to ask your classmates or him

when there's a problem - I'm setting a good impression of myself.

Now all I want to do is to focus in my combined Sciences, Maths, English and POA

to get into the course I want in Polytechnic!

I may be a little lazy, but I'll try to study or ask questions when I'm confuse.

I'll be going out every Saturday to relieve the stress that I get from

School work.

I hope that all my classmates will do the same as well.

- Rose flocked top (Cream-coloured)

Yesterday's shopping trip for CNY Clothing at 313@Somerset with my Aunt and brother was fun! My Aunt brought me a Lady Gaga top and a 'Rose Flocked' top from NewLook! I was not satisfied that most shoes were mistakenly place with a different hanger that indicates the shoe size (e.g. a size 38 flats was place with a size 40 hanger). Plus, most shoes that are pretty are low on stock! Especially those which are in size 40+ (I have big feet size of 41 (for heels) and 42 (for flats or sneakers). I'm pretty satisfied with the clothing - they go by UK or EU size. Both clothes that my Aunt bought for me were size 16 and they are big and size 14 were slightly small, but I could wear them as a oversized tee xD
My Aunt even get a dark Denim easy leggings trousers from UniQlo for me - fits with the clothes :) (I'm wondering, does the leggings with the top fits with black high heels?)

And to conclude how much my Aunt had spent for me: $29.90 (Gaga) + $49.90 (Rose) + $39.90 (Denim) = $119.70
(This calculations goes to Alicia and Samantha, all three of us once said that "give us a $1000 each, we'll spent it until it turns $0 within a day or less")

Miss Kate Moskwa has this English accent that we all understands. She's humorous and looks pretty xD
3B boys nicknamed her as "Giant" because she wear high heels although she has a height of 5 ft 11.
Wen Ting commented that she thinks the teacher looks funny when she wears sandals during
her free period. I'm looking forward for her second SS lesson with us.

And also this is for Mr Cosgrove: GET WELL SOON~
because 3B is struggling with the class key incident (one of them
even lost a PSP because the doors aren't lock during recess) and also they want to
continue their EL lessons.

For 3C: Shi Ya, Tan Jia Yi, Lim Jia Yi and I are thinking of the design for the new Class tee and
class hoodie. The base colours might be hot pink, black, brown and white.

For Green Club: I'm currently the acting-chairman for Green Club. And when time comes, please vote someone else
as chairman! I don't want to get on stage to talk to everybody in the school (DORTZ)
Plus, the CCA shirt is not designed yet. the price is around $25

Haha! I overheard Miss Tan Mui Mui and Mr Clarence Chang's conversation, and they are talking about Mr Cosgrove, who lost his voice - COMPLETELY (temporary). My dad said that losing oneself's voice is one of the symptoms of 'too much "heat"' in the body. Food such as fried fast foods, fruits like durian, longans (or most tropical fruits) or sweet stuffs (cake or desserts except almonds or mango flavoured) can cause 'heat' to accumulate inside the body. The remedy for this problem is to drink liang teh (I think the angmoh can't take the taste of Chinese medicines xD) or eat "chilly" food such as fruits (oranges, apples), milk, chestnuts (yummy!) etc.. Although liang teh may sound like it taste yucky, but it contain luo han guo, rock sugar and other herbs that makes it taste sweet and healthy (Chrysanthemum tea too!).
Anyway drinking warm water with salt (not so much, about half or 1/3 a teaspoon) can ease the pain of sore throat - tried that a lot of times and only 70% of the times I've tried works.

Tomorrow's the day! Miss Kate Marie Moskwa will be teaching us SS starting from tomorrow!

Now everybody's thinking of how she look like or sounds like or even how she treat others like.

- MaxiEyes brown cosmetic lens
- Sprite Liquid lip smacker (I get dry lips easily regardless the weather or the temperature)
- Maybelline New York 2-way cake foundation! (Tone BO1)
- Garnier Light Eye Roll-On (My favourite!!!!)
- Garnier Aqua Defense Eye Roll-On (Use on my eyelid instead of my under eye)
- Garnier Pure Active 24hr Moisturiser
- Garnier UV Protect SPF50 PA+++ (Beige)
- Garnier Pure Active Deep-pore unclogging wash
- Garnier Pure Active Blackhead cleansing scrub

Bought both eye roll-on sticks
during the Cold-storage discount sale, instead of $19.90, bought it at $15 or less. Pure Active product are either given to me by my Aunt or I save enough money for them - they are affordable and it does give an instant result! But here's a precaution - for those who are thinking of using the Pure Active 24hr moisturiser, please make sure that you have use any other Garnier Pure Active range to give you a better and visible results. It sting a little for first timers (I bear with the pain. Ouch!), but it doesn't sting after the second try.

Maybelline New York's Mineral 2-way cake foundations is the best! It doesn't clog up pores and make you feel like you're not wearing any make up! Plus it helps moisturise your skin too :)

I'm currently using this product - The Garnier UV Protect Lightweight daily UV Block lotion (Beige). SPF50 with PA+++

I think I'm just one of those who buy product that don't really look out for the important points - the colour of the tint in the lotion! I was lucky that I've taken the one in beige instead. I didn't realise it until when I saw some reviews on MakeUpAlley stating that there's three types of tint - Purple, White and Beige. White is suitable for those with pale skin (Caucasians or people who use Garnier Light products e.g.), Purple for those who with dark skin (I think?) and Beige for slightly dark or 'healthy' skin tone (Asians e.g.). Well, I was at Watson's and the only UV block lotion I've seen was the Garnier ones. My 3rd Aunt told me to buy the L'Oreal ones as they are effective but I couldn't find them, so I just took the Garnier lotion to the cashier. (I just found out that the L'Oreal ones are $3 or $4 more expensive than Garnier even though many people likes to use Garnier more). It's sticky at first but it later feels like your own skin (meaning that it's very light!) I'm going to wear it to school tomorrow since my dad says that I don't look like I'm wearing any lotions on my face plus I should start a UV protection routine from tomorrow onwards.

Almost everybody in school was talking about this "Ms Kate Marie" teacher from Ireland. Some claims to have seen her; Dirty blond hair, 20s but looks like in her 30s, humorous. Siying and Express Math students says that she might be Mr Cosgrove's second love. LOL! Rui Teng and Daojie thought it would be awkward if both of the Irish teachers knew each other. Ms Kate Marie will be teaching 3C Social Studies and will also be teaching one of the Elective History groups.

3B students wants to get into 3C because they think that class 3C are much more interesting and less boring with students like in 3C, joking with teachers and prank with each other. But the fact that 3C students wants to get into 3B more than they want to get into 3C.

Daojie and Rui Teng are good in adding words for others and get people into unwanted trouble. First, Daojie called Mr Blair a Viking and we joked about it. After sometime, I called Mr Cosgrove a Viking too (by accident!!!!). I don't call people names by purpose (unless I'm mad at that person), it just kinda slip out of my mouth. And to make things worse, Daojie told Mr Cosgrove about it when he walked pass us! Rui Teng even add in words that I didn't say at all! -.-

Just came back from Republic Poly for the Openhouse, and I can't believe that there's a restaurant in the campus! Oliva or "Olive" in Italian is a restaurant in the campus for students who study "Diploma in Restaurant and Culinary Operations". I'm interested in Culinary skills but I'm rather more of "Diploma in Wellness, Lifestyle and Spa Management", both of this courses are under School of Hospitality (SOH).

I think we should change our English teacher to Mr Blair xD
Ms Jocelyn wasn't in school today, so Mr Blair took over for this week's lessons (and maybe next week's too). Damn it! He sound so much different than I've imagine, but who cares. He's style of teaching is something like mixing Mr Cosgrove, Mrs Sabrina Tan and Mr Vijay together.
He started the lesson with a little bit of "Mrs Tan" by waiting for us to be quiet and also shouted at us fiercely (irritate by Rui Teng's "YEEH!"), and then it's "Mr Cosgrove", by joking a little. As for the "Mr Vijay" part, Darren and Lowis were so-called "lectured" by him for writing some mistakes deliberately but they all laughed afterwards.

Anyway, Mr Chua has some serious mental problem! I think he should participate in some talent show auditions xD. He's both my CLOVES1 and Express Chinese Teacher -.-
But I'd laugh a lot during his lesson xD (He gave Mirza an empty tissue box and also sang "Nobody" to a trophy, LOL!).

I also become the Monitress of 3C (kenna sabo-ed by Wan Si and co.), switched position with Wan Si - from Treasurer to Monitress. And I don't know anything about being a monitress!

Taken this during New Years Eve - I had my phone camera on sequence mode and this is one of the few funny shots of Samantha. And Rui Teng accused me for making her cry, LOL? Does she even look like she's crying?

Appassionato III - CCHYSB Concert at the Esplanade Concert Hall

I had dinner at Pastamania with Fiona and Samantha before meeting up with Joscelin, Si Ying, Wen Ting and Eunice. Joscelin actually causes them to be late just because she couldn't find the right clothing to wear. But we all had fun during the train ride to Esplanade.

That's the Burgerking's chair of profoundness :) I maybe emailing it to Burger King xD

What a waste for those who bought the ticket but did not attend the concert! It's worth listening if you don't wanna watch it! I almost fell asleep during the first part of the show, but the music slowly lets you feel excited!

I'm only able to snap one picture of the concert hall :(

After the concert, everybody went out to take a photo with the performers. There were cameraman too, like a dozen of them but they were all busy snapping away

Just watched Rapunzel the Movie yesterday with Alicia, her sister, her friend, Samantha, Cher Lane and Iszhar. We bought tickets separately but we realised that we were seating together when we were in the cinema xD!

After the movie, Alicia and co. went back home, while the rest of us went for a short window shopping. Oh yes! There was one prank that we did to the Caucasians at Causeway Point xD, it was before the movie when Samantha and I had a craving for Durian puffs and pancakes! So we had puffs first and I decided to stand beside a Blonde Caucasian at her 40's, and as expected, she look at us with a weird look and walk away from us, HAHA!!!

So after the short window shopping, Cher Lane and Iszhar went home while we head to Old Woodlands to have our dinner (Thanks Samantha's dad for treating me :D). We both had chicken chops, I had black peppered, while she had teriyaki. I love the baked potato but it's hard to separate the skin from the potato, so I ate the skin as well instead (is it edible?).

After that, as usual, WINDOW SHOPPING, and we saw this transparent back pack that Qian Wei have, at the underground shopping place near KFC, it's available in Blue, red, pink, white and black! And it's price at $12! Twice as cheap as blogshops! But as that time we had no money, we went back home and out again to buy that backpack! (Lucky that we had direct bus from our house to old woodlands)

So we bought the black one together, twinnie!

I've stuffed some plastic bags into the back pack
to give it a better shape.

I should recommend those who are tired of less crowded place, to nex @ Serangoon; that place was so CROWDED that the whole building shook! Nah, I'm just kidding. That place is huge! It's like it's 10 times bigger than VivoCity. Still, VC pwns. Anyway, one Major construction mistake spotted at the mall!
The 'bridge' near Isetan, Skin food, Hot Tomatoes, Carl's Jr and the escalator is too NARROW! People are squeezing themselves through that tiny bridge like there's no other way to get across the building.
Reasons? They are:
1. Singapore's populations are going up (Obviously! + There were Angmohs who won't let their seats to poor elderly who get on the train D: )
2. The fact that the term, "kiasu" can be frequently seen especially in Singaporeans in their mid 30's. Being "Kiasu" can be deadly as it has been seen spreading to younger generation. Consider I'm one of them.
3. Most shoppers crossing that bridge are old uncles and aunties. Spare a thought for them, they may walk slowly (You should witness it yourself!)
4. Since the mall is new, everybody came down to party.
5. Surrounded by new brands and *FASTFOOD! Of course they are eager to go across it.

*Exclude me, I'm only interested in Hot Tomatoes only

we reach Bukit Panjang Plaza at 7.30am. -.- For the clean and green event.... I manage to explain to the old ~~aunties~~ ladies about the UCO soaps, and I just realise that I'm both fluent in Mandarin and English. The only thing that went seriously ~~wrong~~ not good was Mrs Choo, who got splash by cooking oil while trying to open a new bottle of cooking oil. Luckily it's not hot, or history be repeated (I got splashed once, a little when I was young, left a mental scar :( but I love cooking)

FYI: This is not Pandan flavoured kaya!

So we all head towards Bukit Panjang Plaza aka BPP to set up our Clean and Green booth, but the organisers helped us instead! So, Mrs Choo told us to go for lunch instead, and I've shouted "Let's all eat ThaiExpress", but it wasn't open yet then I've said PizzaHut. OMG!!! We can't believe Mrs Choo treat us PizzaHut!!!!!!!! I've made another salad as brunch :)

Tuna Flakes in Olive Oil (Omega-3 Fatty acids) + 2 spoons of Olive oil (Poly-unsaturated fat + Mono-unsaturated fat + Saturated fats) + 3/4 Red cabbage (Vitamin C and K + Dietary Fiber) + Cherry Tomatoes (Vitamin C)

And a whole bunch of grapes :) I'm getting used to the smell and taste of Olive Oil (Congratz me plz).

I'm not trying to skip a proper meal but this is under 'detox diet' - Too much red meat and poultry can be bad!

I left some salad back in the fridge because I just can't get used to olive oil as salad base, although I've been using them to fried eggs xD

I'm planning for this coming week - 2 hangouts, 2 exercise trip and 2 school events.

I had to go out with Alicia and also Samantha - both separate events. Jurong Point with Alicia :) and whenever I go out with Samantha, we will plan where to go while on the way.
Jogging with Samantha (maybe on Tuesday at 5pm?) and also with Alicia on Friday at 6am.

I will be representing my school for the Clean and Green exhibition at Bukit Panjang plaza (?) (for the UCO soap) and also I had to be at school this coming Friday to become free garang-guni. Sad right?

I'm confuse; I'm going to school today and I thought it was Friday -.-
Today's open house is like a day of gaining confidence and experience in talking to strangers, I had introduce and explain the making process and the advantage of UCO soaps :)

What I've said:

Here, you can see the process of making soap using used cooking oil. Basically, we will just pour some Sodium Hydroxide pallets into the water and we will stir the water until it turns colourless like normal water. We will then, just pour the solution into the beaker of used cooking oil and stir a couple of times. After that we will add the fragrance oil and some food colouring to add colour and enhance the fragrance to the soap. And after some more stirring, we will pour the cooking oil into the tray and in 2 weeks’ time, the finishing product can be use as hand soap or detergent for dishwashing. Through this process, we are actually recycling used cooking oil. This activity was also part of our post-exam activities for the lower Secs last year as learning experience.

I hope I did not say anything wrong. And also, I've made 5 trays of soaps :)
First - failed; the soap's colouring turn black and the ending product looks so much like sesame paste!
Second - pass lah, with the colour of ketchup
third - LOVE THE COLOUR!
forth - made it with the help of Danial and added A LOT of fragrances
5th - did it with a lot of parents surrounded (paiseh a bit xD)

I've finally found a pair of heels that is size 42! It's hard to find size 42 heels but I did! It's at Rubi Shoes and I'm saving money for a pair of black wedges.

Yesterday I was at Changi Airport, sent my brother off to Beijing and I saw Ms Wong and ask her about my class results and she said I had to wait for Ms Tan's announcement. I'm quite piss off but there wasn't any other choice I could make. After that, I've went to Candy Empire to buy some candies! I've bought 'The Jelly bean Factory's' Jelly beans (aka from Ireland) and also APFEL slice chocolate that shapes like an Apple (from Germany). I love the jelly beans and the chocolate :) But I have to reduce my sugar intake - Chocolate once a week and jelly beans for sharing with my friends. I was also given a Candy Empire 10% discount card valid for $30+ purchase before 30th Nov 2010 -Who wants the card? I'm giving it for free :)

My brother will be leaving tonight at 0000 hours to Beijing for a school excursion trip for 8 days in total! Roughly about 6 to 8 hours flight and I even pass my 65 RMB to him to help me buy a phone charm :) (I'm crazy about phone charms when I saw Louis Vuitton and COACH phone charms)
I'm will also be sending him off at the Airport along with my Aunt plus I'm buying NexCare Acne patch at Watson's later because of the giant inflated scar beside my mouth! AHHHH!!! I'm buying that to erase off the secretion of liquid that has been on the scar since yesterday. According to my experience, the scar would leave a normal skin tone, so there's nothing to be afraid of!

Other than the charm, he promise to bring back a bag for me (I don't expect something great because I know he's taste on fashion are worse!)

But anyway, wish he had a wonderful trip and a safe flight back home :)

He will be visiting the Cube, Birdnest stadium, enjoy Peking Duck and etc. *jealous!*

Can't believe this! I've met this rude blogshop owner! I live in Woodlands and had to go to Choa Chu Kang to pay for the stuff that I've ordered from her blogshop. When I arrive at Choa Chu Kang MRT, I've text her that I had arrive and was wearing what type of clothing, and she asked me to wait for her at the LRT instead and also the type of clothing she was wearing. I couldn't find her afterwards and she claims that she was busy and had to leave. Also, she ask if I could pass the money to her tomorrow, when she told me this, I saw her and yet she walk away after when I told her that I've seen her at the concourse level of the MRT station. What the hell!? I've waste my trip and she just left? I'm not gonna pay for my stuff and will not appear at that same place tomorrow! I don't care whether she blacklisted me or whatever shit!

The items I've ordered are also available from other blogshops - who cares if I want or not to buy from her!

Days are getting more and more depressing -.- added up with this week's bridging programme that all Sec2 student had to attend :( Life sucks when there's no freedom

Played badminton with Alicia 2 hours ago, maybe its because of the Subway sandwich that made us feel weak during the game; its like the energy within us has been drained away by the sub'sandwich we had during lunch.
Her crush even text her during the game and she was over the moon! I hope the same would happen to me too but I bet that's not gonna happen in a million years time because we're both different in certain ways that made us incompatible :(

Sec2 class streaming exercise

Damn! Why can't we have our own choice in choosing our class for Sec 3? As in, staying in a class with the same classmate and the same teacher. Not only we complain about each other's class standards but still we want to stick with each other! Why bother to choose 1 for N1 (3B) and 2 for N2 (3C); (1 = your choice, 2 = you second choice if you can get into the first choice) if everybody opt for N1 the most? What would happen to those who weren't chosen for N1 and get into N2 and they HATE coursework (FnN, DnT or Art) a lot? If it were to be me getting into N2, I'll be seriously upset with the school management - THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE STUDENTS! Still, I understand that most schools in Singapore goes by the rules set by MOE but if the students get 50 for his/her Geography or History and 60+ for his/her Art/FnN/DnT, does it means that if he/she puts 1 for no-coursework class and 2 for coursework class, he/she will get a lower percentage in getting to his choice of class? Honestly, it doesn't mean that one subject is better than another means that he/she is interesting in the subject that scores the highest; I get good results from FnN but Geography is lower than it, but I like the subject Geography and am choosing that subject!

I am hoping that I will get into the class without coursework!

For us 2B, we played games during our CLOVES lesson, Mr Cosgrove even showed me and Rui Teng the pictures he took during his trip overseas to Macau, Hong Kong, Ho Chih Minh City and the Philippines, most of them are high quality images (xD). Before that, he showed us his hometown and even explain the boats he used to own (I was actually trying to figure out his eye colour at the same time; Brown!)
As usual, I'm still addicted to hair, eye and skin colour researches :)

We are also seriously jealous of class 2C; Mr Blair was their relief teacher for the last period! WTF.

Almost all the subject teachers were unavailable for the whole day - Ms Darwina, Mr Cosgrove and Mdm Chen
But Ms Darwina and Mr Cosgrove came in for sometime, especially Mr Cosgrove who came in several times.

Mdm Lee showed us the movie "Nightmare on Elm's Street", its quite scary! - The whole class screamed loudly but ended up laughing like a bunch of idiots! Weird? It wasn't quite scary for me, maybe because of watching too much CSI?

Yup, as the title states, I finally receive a new laptop, DELL Pink :) I don't know the actual brand code, but my Aunt told me that all DELL Laptops are the same its just that the processor are different.

I still can't get used to the keyboard as it's slightly different than the one I previously use - Sony Vaio
I wanted a Vaio actually but since DELL is better - no choice but to pick this :(

To Fellow Cchy 2B & 2C

On the very last days of our Secondary 2 life,
it would be also the end of our major streaming year on whether who or which are being placed in 3B or 3C.
We all know that our overall standards/results of Maths, English and Science (3 important subjects) aren't as
satisfied as we thought it would be, resulting in some of you, deciding on extra lessons like tuition or just having a
major nervous breakdown.
We are all unique in different ways, we had our own perspective and also our very
own attitude towards education and friends, and soon as we are reaching Sec 3,
it would be an oppotunity to make new friends (or foe) and also the chance to brighten up our knowledge.
No matter how stress you are right at this instant, stressing about the class you might heading to,
whether its 3B or 3C, or maybe the saying or
rumors of the difference between 2 classes' standards:
there's no point in stressing much but focus and be unafraid on every new challenges.
And a last advice to you all; continue and uphold the 'Study Hard 'n' Play

Collagen Hand Mask Review

Bought this Collagen Hand mask from Guardian.
As the package mention, Soothing, Moisturizing and Anti-aging.
For my experience through the mask - not much effect because it had already indicate on the package 'Specially prepared for coarse and dull looking hands' which none of them describes my hands :)

The only results I obtain from the process is that the 'freckles' on my hand were lighten a bit and my palm was redden when I remove the gloves but it was later back into a healthy colour.

Will I recommend this to my friends? No. unless they have granny hands. If so, strongly recommend!!

Yesterday was the LAST EXAM PAPER OF 2010!!!!!
Alicia, Jiayi and I went to IKEA Tampines to have our lunch - I never had IKEA food except for its Hot Dog and so the girls recommended me the Meatball and we're lucky that we came on Tuesday because it cost only $4 for a plate of 10pcs of meatball!

After that we went to the toilet - took pictures!

Hai Hai! Bought two more necklaces from Boon Lay! I don't have the exact address but the shop sells interesting stuff - its like a real life Blog shop! The necklaces (The Robot N The Camera) are sold at the price of $6.90 each. The Footprint was bought from China during the June Holiday Xiamen trip and the cost of the necklaces was 22 yuan, equivalent to around S$4.50+

14 Most Haunted in Singapore

An Old School in Singapore (name of school is unknown to the author, names anyone?) -This building was constructed in the early 1900s. Many former pupils reported scary noises and passerbys reported strange lights in the building at night. Rumours include a locked toilet due to unremoveable blood stains on the floor. Others heard that “the white lady wept in the toilet every night.” The building was demolished recently.
Bedok Block of Flats -When these block of flats at Bedok Reservoir was still standing, it was left empty for years. Rumors included that a whole family had committed suicide in their flat and that a person had been killed by a ghost in a lift/elevator. Passerbys would sometimes see lights flinkering in the supposedly now empty flats.
The Cemetary – There are many incidents about a cemetery in Singapore. Some frightened passerby heard someone call from the cemetery, “Please dig the soil. Open the coffin now!” Others reported witnessing ghosts wandering around the cemetery. Foods left on the grave area to honor the departed often have teeth marks as though someone took a bite. Some heard knocking sounds coming from the cemetery. Cats meowed and dogs barked at something or someone in the cemetery. The mystery is still very much unsolved til today.
Changi Beach – This area is believed to be haunted by the ghosts of the executed chinese during the Japanese occupation. Passersby often report hearing strange crying and screamings. The heads of the chinese dead bodies are sometimes seen flying everywhere. Headless bodys walk around the beach as well. More scary cases include a passerby witnessing a ghostly execution leaving blood stains.
Changi Old Beach Houses – These houses are for rent. Mostly families wanting a break by the sea will rent them. However, a few unluckly ones would return home with a scar. Most people reported a feeling of being stared at. Few unluckly ones were slapped by unknown forces while bathing. Few had heard scary noises at night like the crying of a lady. Witnesses said that the door of the old houses creaked while opening and closing without stopping. Some cases even involved possession of body by a ghost and the sighting of a ghost. The mysteries remained unsolved til today.
East Coast Beach – This area is believed to be haunted by wandering ghosts. Stories include a person walking along the beach at night seeing a lady in white floating around. Strange noises were also reported. Many reports indicate that there are many people drowning in the sea. Be careful if you take an enjoyable swim or stroll along the beach at night or the ghosts could disturb you anytime.
Kind Ghost – Often, people returning home late at night would unexpectedly see a lady dressed in white who would claim that she was waiting for them. People would rush up the stairs only to find the lady already there. Most of the people would faint. The lady dressed in white would be seen often at Sembawang Road, Mount Faber Road and Choa Chu Kang Road.
Lor. Halus – This is an area known for smoke and dust as this area is a sand and stone storage area. The coast is near and often people fishing overnight reported strange happenings. Some fishermen screamed when checking their fishing rods only to find human heads attached to the hook. Others reported appearances of ghosts asking for food.
Lost – There have been many reports of people travelling on the roads of Singapore late at night meeting strange looking people asking for directions. Mostly, the strange looking people’s heads would be covered by a hood. Upon closer examination, one would discover that there are no face under the hoods. Others say that the blood from their faces can be seen along the road.
Midnight Basketball Matches – Sometimes when it is late at night and you happen to glance out of the window, you would see a basketball match being played. Strange however, that no sound could be heard and you could not see the faces clearly. If you have the guts to go downstairs and have a look, you will discover that there is no one there. But the basketball could be seen bouncing continuously on the basketball court. This incident has been remained unexplainable.
MRT Stations – It is believed that certain MRT stations are haunted. People in trains, mostly last trains stopping at these stations, report seeing headless apparitions walking down the aisle or hearing loud laughter. Strange noises could sometimes be heard in the MRT stations. MRT stations are located at Bishan, Braddell, Newton, Novena, Toa Payoh, Tanjong Pagar and Jurong East.
St John Island – There are deserted buildings in this island. Stories include a student who heard someone calling him at night. Others include thumping sounds and someone running. Some have witnessed a white figure roaming around the bungalows and the forests. The villagers believed that Japanese troops killed the numerous people a long time ago.
Taxi Passangers – Often, taxi drivers doing the midnight shifts, would see a lady in white or in pale colors flagging down their taxis near the Kranji MRT station. If they had the guts to stop, they would mostly be ordered to go to a cemetery. The payment would mostly be in “hell notes.” Some unlucky drivers would be treated to a view of the ghost’s real appearance. That is why taxi drivers will not go to Woodland, Sembawang or Khatib late at night.
White Houses -These are believed to be houses with no owners. The houses are white in color and are believed to be haunted. These white houses are well known among teenagers of Singapore as places of adventure and horror. Most of these houses have a tragic past. One such house in Punggol had been declared as evil and had to be demolished.

Didn't update my blog for two days because of the EOY Examinations
We had Mother Tongue paper 1 today and can't believe how easy it was! I'm one of the few who did the fastest xD
But exams are not about who did the fastest but its about the understanding of the subject = I will fail my physics

Had a lot of fun teaching Haikel Mandarin during English Literature! Siying, Jojo and I taught him 'good' mandarin, as in the proper usage and pronunciation while Lynn Thant taught him Chinese vulgar and stuff -.-

Just found some blog shops selling F21 inspired or Roulailai wallets for $15+

and claims that it was the cheapest! LOL! I bought my red wallet for $10. I found one of them selling at $8 but the meet up place was a Choa Chu Kang! Too far! - If it were to be Woodlands, Marsiling, Admiralty, Sembawang, Yishun or Khatib (maybe Ang Mo Kio or Yio Chu Kang), I would accept.

Buying Cross Checkered Wallet from Everlas-ting blogshop for $5, stock haven't arrive yet and the owner said that Burberry are fining those who sell wallets that copied their design for $$$$.

Every girl has their own ways of preparing their bag - shoulder bag, wristlet, handbag, sling bag, pouch or even just a simple wallet :)
Here's how I pack my bag - shoulder bag
A shoulder bag is something like a sling bag but it's carried by the shoulder.

For me, I like to listen to music so I'll bring a in-ear headphones but if I don't mind, I'll bring the headphones ($48.90 at Popular bookstore, In-ear headphones by Audio-Technica - Bass 8/10. $12 at HeSheOnline, Headphones by Mix-Style - Bass 8/10 includes sub-woofer).
In my advice is to just use your handphone as your music player, unless the phone you're using does not includes music then you are to bring an iTouch, iPod etc. Because for me, I'm a music lover - I used to have 980+ songs in my Nokia 5800 but now in my Nokia C6, I only had 448 :( Lady Gaga and Avril Lavigne had the most songs in my playlists.

Secondly, a wallet is the most essential and must-bring item when a girl goes out for shopping. The wallet I'm using is the Forever 21 inspired bright red wallet ($10 at Orchard Central . It contains - $2 coins (for emergency if I forgotten to bring my ez-link card), $10 note (just in case there's emergency, or the notes shouldn't be used), other S$$, Library card, Boarders card (I barely use it. I only use the Popular Bookstore card which went missing), Medical appointment card (For no reason I put it there). It's important for a typical Singaporean teenagers to keep a $10 in the wallet just in case an emergency!!!

Thirdly, a snack bar! I recommend SoyJoy! There are lots of flavours to chose from and its listed as the most healthiest snack bar - contains low GI and less fat! (Join the Anti-Unhealthy snack pledge on the SoyJoy website!!) My favourite flavours are apples!

Why I recommend a snack bar? Its important because sometimes we skip meals or do not find time to have our meals so a snack bar can help us ease the hungriness. Available at all 7-11 stores at the price of $2

For those who wears contact lens like me! - Fourthly, a cute contact lens case - Available at Duyi bookstore at the price of $2.90. Colours include - Pink, blue, white and green.

Last but not least, stuff like sunglasses, a hair brush, umbrella, hairband and coin pouch are also essentials!
Sunglasses - hide your self from strong sunlight and protect you from the unhealthy UV rays!
Hair brush - Strong winds? Your hair might be in a risk of tangling hairs, so a hair brush is important when you need to untangle those hair (for those who has serious damage hair or curly hair)
Umbrella - You can't predict rain or shine if you're living in Singapore like me (weather forecasts can't be trust) So bringing an umbrella is a must!
Hair band - Just in case you needed to tie up your hair!
Coin pouch - separate your coins with the wallet you're using to avoid the heavy weights bought by the coins!
Important! : Sanitary pad - no reason for girls not to bring them!

(The yellowish stuff in the plastic bag shown in the first picture is a mooncake! I tied it there because there ain't enough space in the bag - didn't expect that!)

My DnT project!!!! - Letter rack

Hey guys! As promised, posted the pictures of my DnT project, it suppose to have a red base and bottom but instead, I make it white and deep purple, the white suppose to be pure white but since I paint the white while the pink paint was still slight dry-wet, it gives a fluffy or cloudy look to it - suitable for girls and can be use as a paper weight :)

EL Lessons Rules! Headaches and DnT!

Haha! Today's English Lesson we did a lot of laughing! From the "Nuclear Shelter" speech and to some minor issue.

Anyway I had read yesterday's newspaper that there are more children from aged 6 to 16 suffering from headache attack illness such as Migraine! Most cases of headache attacks were triggered the cause of lack of sleep and stress! For me as a 14 year-old, I must have at least 9 hours of sleep! And according to studies, the first headache attack was as young as 6 years old with it's starting of primary school education - An 6 year old may suffer up to several headaches in a year = a child may suffer up to several headache attacks in his or hers childhood or teen years.

I did my DnT Project with a dozen helped from my classmates (equals to best friends)
Siying - Drawing and designing of wooden block
Zul, Fecillia & Alicia - Minor cutting up of wooden block
Zul & Brian - Filing of wooden block
DnT Teacher's Assistant (A Malay Teacher) - Helped me glue the wooden blocks together
Last but not least, Ghim Teng who provided painting materials :)

It seems like the project doesn't look like it was done by me - yes, it is not, I only did the painting but it involves the help of many :)

Early dismissal

While the last few days, Byran called Rui Teng "Attention Seeker" and today, he had enough and complained to Mr Cosgrove. Well, it turned out well but with a bit of "back-fired" in the beginning. Mr Cosgrove even told us about his 25-year-old sister who was a attention seeker too when she was young and he claims that it's normal for people to seek attention in school or in front of friends when they do not get much attention at home. (That's true, I love to "act" a little cute in front of my parents when I was young).

After the discussion, Mr Cosgrove let us out early and it turned out to be an very early dismissal - Mr Seet went around to catch those students who were let out early. But majority of us escape by sitting in the Cafeteria to have our lunch. The rest that were caught was told to stand in front of the general office and wait for the actual dismissal time with the form teacher's accompany. The ones who were in the Cafeteria (including myself), dedicate songs to Dao Jie who he became the temporary DeeJay, I dedicated the song "Cooler Than Me" by Mike Posner :) I love that song! And the rest were just Eminem's and some other singers.

I just went to see the stats - finally, 2 Irish visited this blog (LOL! why am I saying this xD)
I told Rui Teng that there's a comedy show called "Sunday Night Project" and it includes a News segment which make fun of news and one of it was the Irish Toxic pork issue and Rui Teng told Mr Cosgrove straight after I finish my sentence and thought I was saying the true! But he told Mr Cosgrove it was a joke afterwards and the teacher laughed too(Click here for video)

We took our class photo today! The informal part was the best! Everybody point at Mr Cosgrove and after the first informal shot, the second one was a disaster! Siying was not prepared and yet she fling her tie on me! I think my face was disoriented on the photo!
I can't wait to see the photos :)

Didn't went to school today - Asthma, nose bleed, headache, diarrhoea and slight muscle spasm that occurs once in a few minutes like I'm living in the cold region.
I miss school :( I wonder what my classmates are doing in class, I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow, I don't know what's for homework, I don't know what was taught today :(
This is why, I hate school on other days except Monday, because everything, regardless important or not will happen on Monday.

I'm buying blonde extension, clip-ons, not as in 'thick' or 'bold' ones. I found some on blog shops, which there are one selling "spring ons" - I don't know how to use it. The blogshop that I bought my headphones from, HeSheOnline are selling those clip ons, but I'm asking the length of the extensions from them now.

Haven't done the Chinese and English situational writings yet, I shall do it in school tomorrow morning!

Can't believe this, Channel 5 will be showing U2 live in Rose Bowl on this coming Friday!!!! So EXCITED!
I think that Bono is hot, hot hot hot!!!!! (I'm pushing the two Caucasian teachers aside)

When I told Rui Teng about it, he replied that he was once a U2 fan when he was 6 years old. And until I told him "They are also considered as Ireland's most successful bands" he freaked out and send "THEY ARE IRISH?" LOL!!!!!

Yesterday's Mid-Autumn festival celebration, Blair was participating too! He was involve with the Teacher moon-cake making competition, but I didn't really saw him make anything

Second day of CCHY's new Caucasian teacher

My god! Every girl in this school must be obsessed with this new teacher, including me!
I met him like 3 times today and I'm happy about it! (Giggling inside of me).

First, after Music lesson, Yu Qi, Fecillia and I left behind to finish the Music test and suddenly Mr Blair just popped out from the back door of the Music Room and all of us were over-excited and laugh like a bunch of idiots while leaving the room at the same time.

Secondly, its after school and we are heading to the venue where we had our Chinese Oral Examination and I saw Mr Cosgrove pass-by the CG room with somebody and I ask "Who's that guy with Mr Cosgrove?" and Siying shout "OH MY GOD! IT'S MR BLAIR, MR BLAIR!!! *waving hand at the same time*", she almost step on my feet and almost made Eunice fall.

Thirdly, we're in class 1C waiting for our turn for the Oral Exam, and he walk pass the classroom!!!!!!!

I'm lucky to see him 3 times a day, while the other class who's English was changed to him are more luckier than us. No point being sad because my form teacher and English teacher is also a Caucasian! xD But it seems that the girls in CCHY are still having a hot teacher-fever!

Today, Mr Tan announce a new staff to CCHY, Mr *Blair (forgotten his name), his from Scotland. Siying and I were crazy about him being handsome and his only 24 according to what Mrs Choo said. His office cubical will be Mdm Samboo's previous cubical as she was transferred to the HOD office.

OMG!!! Siying and I can't stop talking about how handsome he is, we haven't heard his voice yet but we sure seen his tanned face. My brother said that Mr Cosgrove found a new rival while both Siying and I thinks that he has found a new partner xD

(*Blair is a name of Scottish origin. Meaning: Scottish Gaelic for "Field" of "battlefield". In other languages it can be known as "Leader" or one true leader.)

Done my online homework! Current Maths topic we're learning is 'Possibility'
I took about 10 minutes to do the quiz even thought it gave me 45 minutes to do, and I get full marks, its so easy!!! I get help my brother while doing the lesson, seriously - I don't know what Miss Isma was writing in the lesson. And finally the quiz, full marks!!

History was another thing - its a new topic, and I didn't bother to read my textbook.

Here's a remedy for those doing the history quiz later on
- You only get 15 minutes to answer the quiz! So, open the quiz, (If you're using Google Chrome), the Microsoft document will pop up, click on it and close the quiz.
- Do the quiz on the Microsoft document, write the answer (A,B,C or D) on another Microsoft word
-Open the quiz again after you finish answering the question, and attempt the quiz within 5 minutes max (because you've had already did the quiz, no point wasting time)

This benefits you a lot! You can search the internet for answers without using the text - I'm doing this because the teacher had not teach the topic yet!

Mix Style headphones

This is the second time I bought something online - first, a second-hand guitar at $80.
second, a new Mix style headphone at $12.
Bought it from HeSheOnline BlogShop and it claims that the retailer is clearing their stocks so they sold the headphones at a extremely low price. I did research, and it seems like the original price is US$66. And I must say that you can find some marks on the headphones but are able to clean away by using a wet tissue.

I've lost 2kg and end up gaining back 1kg because of my dad -.-
We had a lot of 'father and daughter' meals these days, and I GAIN WEIGHT! OMG!

ahhh!!!! All my hard work on losing weight and they are all gone.

12 September is my Cuzzie's birthday, she loves to play and sing Adam Lambert songs almost every family gathering, so I beg my dad to buy the Adam Lambert Deluxe CD (DVD included :) ) for her and as for me, Miley's Can't Be Tame as mention :)

Ignore the price, the shop owner sold it to us at S$20 each for the CDs (both includes DVD)

I think that I've downloaded to much applications to my laptop, its lagging and some windows app like media players lags a lot whenever I tried to open it.

Yesterday's post about the dinner and the black and white sling bag, I must thanks my dad a lot!! He spend a total of $120 for all the stuff - food, shopping :)

Just had some seafood and satays at Old Woodlands with my dad :) great dinner but my dad said the seafood ain't fresh, yar I think so too and he also promise to bring me to another place to have better seafood :)

Dream about Joscelin by Rui Teng

I've been messaging Rui Teng the whole day when he started telling me about the weird dreams his getting lately and I decided to share it with you guys (Warning, you might get goose-bumps!!!)

Rui Teng: U noe I had just woke up from a very weird dream?

Cheryl (Me!): Did you (know) I jut send a message to Yu Qi?

Rui Teng: No

Cheryl (Me!): What weird dream you had?

Rui Teng: But I tell you about the dream

Rui Teng: Well... me and Joscelin were getting married near the beach, malay-style. Then I remembered I had to get something. And...

Rui Teng: Then after that it was damns weird; I was running around northpoint finding my bag. Then I was suddenly in a room to put my keys down

Cheryl (Me!): Lol? Maybe the sandman is playing a joke with you

Rui Teng: Then after that, I leapt and suddenly I was back in the wedding ceremony again. I landed in a squatting position and was unable to stand up

Cheryl (Me!): O.o that's seriously weird. For me, I've been dreaming about Mr Cosgrove and his weird moves

Rui Teng: Then someone pulled me to my feet. I then sat down and I saw Joscelin's back. Her hair was all curvy

Rui Teng: Then after that she let go of her dad's hand. Flowers were all over the walkway. Then she turned around. I saw her, she was prettier than ever. Then she smiled at me

Cheryl (Me!): LOL

Rui Teng: I'm not done yet

Cheryl (Me!): Ignore me and just continue

Rui Teng: The place suddenly become beach. Then me and Joscelin were playing in the water and were having lots of fun

Cheryl (Me!): Wow, you done with it?

Rui Teng: Then I was about to spray her with a massive splash when suddenly the whole
place turned dark. Everyone was gone except me. The next thing I knew, I was kissing my pillow

Cheryl (Me!): The kissing pillow part was real life or dreaming?

Rui Teng: Then my pillow all wet. So I pulled away from it and continued to lie on my bed. I was thinking: "That was damns weird. But at least we got married"

Cheryl (Me!): Haha, its an happily ever after

Rui Teng: U tell Siying

Cheryl (Me!): When I get back to school, hey my dream about Mr Cosgrove is that he became very impatient,, red faced and gets angry easily with the whole class and next is that I end up messing up his dinner with his whole family by appearing out of nowhere, THIS IS SERIOUSLY WEIRD.

Rui Teng: If the dream had continued we would be kissing in hip-deep water. And Joscelin would be in her bikini and I would be in swimming trunks minus my fatty stomach

Rui Teng: Mr Cosgrove used irish power to warp Cheryl and family to dinner table

Cheryl (Me!): LOL what is that going to do with irish power, anyway, his house looks like a wooden cottage

Starhub GPRS

Disabled Starhub GPRS on my new Nokia C6 by deleting it!
What if I need it back one day? But for now, there's no other choice - whenever I wanted to go online using my device, it will just use the Starhub GPRS plan which I hate it when there's other WLAN points to choose from :(

This is a really short post!~ And I can wait for the Hari Raya holidays starting from tomorrow which last for a week!!!!!!!!!
